The River Is A Mirror

Trocadero Projects
Melbourne
15 April - 17 May

Looking at the way artists have addressed and represented the landscape, The River Is A Mirror includes a selection of process-driven works that use unconventional materials. These pieces embrace spontaneity, allowing nature to shape the composition as much as the artist. The River is a Mirror explores how sculptures, installations and performances engage with the natural world. These artistic processes invite viewers to examine the interrelations between bodies, materials, and ecological histories.

Spiraro acknowledges that their work is primarily made on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation.
